Thunderpants occurs as 2002 personal film about a son whose unbelievable capacity for flatulence gets him a job as an astronaut. A film was directed by Peter Hewitt, whose previous function involved ''Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) and The Borrowers'' (1997). A script was written by Phil Hughes, based on the story by Peter Hewitt.
